Aiko

Aiko is thankfully incredibly patient when technology is being difficult. I appreciate her patience and problem solving. During lessons, she is very kind and gives lots of opportunities to practice. I still struggle with speaking but Aiko is patient, encouraging and always celebrates my progress. She reminds me there’s no pressure to remember everything all at once and gives good homework to help keep me progressing.

I appreciate Aiko encouragement as well as the explanations behind words and sentence structure.

Aiko-sensei is always a pleasure to speak with and does a wonderful job at correcting mistakes as I make them during the course of the lesson.

Aiko is so encouraging and makes learning fun. She explains lessons clearly as well as the sentence structure. She encourages you to try to read on your own and is also very kind to give extra instruction too. Before I started learning with Aiko, learning Japanese was a little intimidating and I was really nervous about getting things wrong. Now I still worry about getting things wrong but I feel more confident to try because of Aiko’s encouragement and patience :)

Aiko is amazingly patient and the best cheerleader as you’re learning. She finds great engaging ways to teach and truly cares about her students. I had technical struggles today and Aiko worked with me to find a solution that worked for both of us.

I appreciate that Aiko sensei reviews materials and allows for time to take notes. She is always so patient and really reminds you that you don’t have to stress about learning the vocabulary all at once. She’s great at repeating it so you’re able to familiarize yourself with it both in reviewing it and practicing with it.
