Hi, my name is Federica and I am a Community Tutor for Italian on Italki.
I am Italian and I live in Perugia in Umbria, the region called the green heart of Italy.
In my free time I like to visit art exhibitions and when I can travel; I believe that traveling allows me to open my mind to new cultures and knowledge.
To relax and distract myself from everyday life, I love spending time outdoors in nature.
I have a background in scientific studies and have continued to train myself following various types of courses, I always like to learn new things and keep up with the times!

I started teaching Italian "by chance", agreeing to the request of a Japanese friend to help her maintain and deepen her knowledge of Italian. I found it fun and inspiring, so I continued.

I would like to teach Italian through the customs and traditions of my wonderful country.
Italy from north to south presents a variety of different worlds: food, art, traditions and much more to discover during the lessons.
Conversation is the best way to learn a new language and my intention is to do it through topics that most interest the student about Italy and beyond, in an informal and pleasant way.
