Wonderful lesson! Julien is really exceptional at making lessons easy and fun. He offers great advice and has a knack at helping students' pronunciation. I appreciate his attention to detail and I feel that today's lesson was really productive --I was able to come to class with a few questions and Julien was able to explain clearly and with lots of examples. We did a role play from the get go and it was challenging, but slowly, I am able to string enough words together to make it through the activity.

This was my second French class on italki, and I feel so lucky to have found such a great teacher on just my second try!^^Julien is passionate, highly experienced (and impressively fast at typing!) I love his teaching style; it suits me perfectly and is exactly what I was looking for. I can’t wait for my next lesson with him! Merci beaucoup et à très bientôt!

Julien is a good conversationalist and keeps the flow of the lesson going with questions. I can always come to lesson with questions and he has lots of advice when it comes to tricky aspects of French language. He knows the habits of students and can support whoever at whatever level French they speak. Until next time!

After a couple weeks on a break from French classes, Julien was really encouraging as usual and very motivated to have a fun and easy going lesson today. His straight forward perspective about French language learning is really refreshing. He uses a mix of his own made materials to practice students' weak points and gives ample opportunity for speaking practice during our lessons. He has a great sense of humor and can make lessons fly by. I would really recommend him to any level of French language learners.

Julien is very easy going and honest. I feel that I am speaking with a friend who is very supportive and tries to help me get better. He has so many quick resources and materials to help me when I find something difficult to communicate in French. I always end up replacing words in English and afterwords we revise the sentences that I said and he helps me with pronunciation or vocabulary. It is a long slow process but I think I am getting a little better each week.
