I have now completed 62 lessons with Kristina. I always look forward to them and learn something new every session. Each lesson challenges me and I am beginning to feel more confident when speaking Serbian. Everything we learn is useful and my Serbian wife is always impressed with how much I have learnt. I couldn't ask for a better teacher to be learning Serbian with and I cannot recommend Kristina highly enough. Not only is she extremely knowledgable and patient but she's also a very warm and friendly person.

I'm very happy to have found Kristina as a teacher. I work at a school where 100+ languages are spoken and there is language instruction in English from newcomers through university prep. I have also conducted research in language instruction programs. So, in learning Serbian I am a bit picky about finding an instructor with good language teaching techniques and materials. She's a good teacher! She has a good base plan for teaching and fills that in with more specific information to help your weaker areas. For me, she provides right balance of patience and correction--I think my Serbian will improve quickly.

This review is after my first lesson/initial consult with Kristina. Just from this lesson alone, I am very comfortable recommending Kristina to anyone looking to learn Serbian. Kristina comes to lessons very well prepared and is very experienced in language learning and in introducing material.

It's been 5 months since I started learning Serbian with Kristina. I found myself in Serbia without knowing the language and these lessons helped me a lot in everyday life and in communicating with Serbs. Almost everything we study is useful to me in my life in Serbia. And if there are problems with something, then Kristina will always help solve them, be it slang, unobvious grammar or the name of dishes at the Slava holiday. Each lesson is easy and interesting, but always useful. I'm looking forward to new lessons!

Kristina is an excellent teacher. She is super knowledgeable and is able to impart her knowledge in a clear and concise way. I look forward to my lessons with her not just for learning the language, but also the culture. Her classes are always informative and she is always prepared, even when I am not. She has a wonderful personality and always has a smile. I am so glad that she is my teacher!!!!!

I've been studying Serbian for about the last year with Kristina and I have been able to go from knowing very little to being able to engage in basic conversation somewhat comfortably, which is great because Serbian is not the easiest language. Kristina is very patient and provides a very structured process to learning Serbian with homework assignments and periodic tests. This helps me know that I am learning the material and retaining it, while giving me evidence of tangible progress. Overall, I would highly recommend Kristina if you would like to learn Serbian.
