I teach from beginner's levels to preps for JLPT N5-N1 or the MEXT scholarship exams (I teach N1&N2 though unlisted in my courses due to space). Many of my students passed N1&N2, won the MEXT scholarships!/Enseño desde el nivel principiante hasta los preparativos para el JLPT, niveles N5-N1 o para el examen de la beca MEXT (enseño N1&N2 aunque no aparezca en mis cursos). I can explain Japanese grammar with comparisons to English. When a student asks a question, seldom do I say "because that's how it works". I can provide you a clear explanation. It states I taught beginner, intermediate and advanced level courses as well as prep for JLPT N2 and N1. Japanese Language TutorI began teaching Japanese at my university's volunteer program. I taught at Centro de Idiomas Asiáticos (Bogotá). I have mostly taught as freelance, since it allows me to design different content for each student. I teach from beginner's levels to preps for Japanese Language Proficiency Exam (JLPT) N5-N1 or the exams for the scholarships offered by the Japanese Embassy, called MEXT. I have many students who have passed N1 and N2, won the MEXT scholarships and are studying or working in Japan.

I cannot say enough positive things about Azumi, her teaching style, and her classes. I honestly haven't seen this much growth and improvement in my Japanese language skills until I started her classes a few years ago. She is patient, disciplined, and cares for her students so much and it shows in every one of her classes. I HIGHLY recommend taking her class whether you're studying for the JLPT or want to learn the Japanese language for fun! You won't regret it!

Azumi is amazing! I had been learning some Japanese on my own so that I could understand my family members who speak Japanese. In the last 7 months, my progress has accelerated greatly with Azumi as a teacher. We are zipping through N4 materials, and her experience makes it easy and fast.

Azumi was helpful today with understanding my confusion with "there is sentences" and "it's senteces" This concept is confusing even in english. This is a very personal subject for me and that I am vary greatful for the way Azumi reconized my struggle with this topic. I am thankful I have a teach that I am open with about my Dyslexia. I am holding back tears.
Thank you Azumi for teaching me more then just Japanese.
