#1 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐시니 SHINNIE

I just came back yesterday from a 3 week trip to Korea from 14 June till yesterday. I am very thankful for every lesson I had with Shinnie. I only started studying learning Korean with him for 9 months, however I been doing so good in Korean as he is very honest and he corrects my regression. Thanks to Shinnie now I could speak Korean very well so I didn’t face any major language barriers in Korea. During the trip I free talked to lots of Taxi drivers for like 70% of the ride in Korean using the precious skills I gained from 9 months of classes with Shinnie that teaches free talk, grammar, words. More than 25 people in Korea during the 3 weeks praised my Korean. One even question whether I lived in Korea for very long or I had a Korean mother. I formed many connections in Korea due to my Korean skills. I went outside of tourists areas such as Seoul and Busan and I went to Korean countryside and I got praised there. If I couldn’t spoke Korean I wouldn’t be able to venture out of Seoul.

I have been having lessons with Shinne for a year now. Shinnie is patient, respectful and passionate about his students learning. When I thought I wasn’t progressing he showed me how much I have learned and helped restore my confidence. Shinnie has taught me how to study successfully again using his proven methods and my self-confidence has grown. I know Shinnnie teaches people with ADHD, stuttering, mental illnesses, and disabilities as I have some of these conditions. However, he has never discriminated against me and has been truly dedicated to my Korean learning. I have tried learning with other Korean teachers who have given me false compliments which I did not find productive. Shinnie has helpfully pointed out attitudes or habits that have hindered my progress and he is always honest about my skills and goals. You can trust him and just follow his guidance—without overthinking or false delusions. Shinnie is an excellent, top rate teacher. If I can do it, you can too.

시니 선생님 is an exceptional teacher. I genuinely look forward to every lesson with him. His clear explanations and calm, intuitive teaching style make Korean feel accessible in a way I never expected. Even after a three-week break, when I was nervous and unsure, he guided the class with such ease that I felt comfortable right away. He has a talent for understanding how I think, and he adapts the lesson in a way that keeps me focused, motivated, and excited to learn more. Learning with him is not only helpful, it’s something that truly brightens my day.

I came to Shinnie after struggling to find motivation and progress with self study. From the very first lesson with him, I blew past what I had been able to achieve with textbooks and online resources, and felt so empowered and rewarded by the results of his unique method. Shinnie's focus on teaching grammar in order of the most commonly used allowed me to start free talking faster than I thought possible. He's firm when it comes to having the right approach to lessons and study, because he's truly committed to my success, but gentle when I feel nervous or overwhelmed and helps me simplify the process and focus on the right things when it feels like too much. Every lesson feels like comfortably talking to a friend, yet he interjects new grammar patterns and vocabulary, as well as reinforcement of everything we learn, seamlessly. Shinnie's lessons and unique method for studying truly feel like the most natural way to acquire a language, without stress or blind memorization. 감사합니다 선생님!

Yesterday was my first legit online Korean language class with a real Korean professor. yes, finally, after months of pretending I was self-studying. I started learning Korean three months ago and still stuck on hangeul and a few phrases. Then out of nowhere, I saw a random Reddit comment about Teacher Shinnie. Curious me downloaded italki, searched for him and booked a trial class right away. I was amazed that I could keep up and understand him so well. He was quick to spot the bad habits I had picked up elsewhere. His strategic, yet simple, teaching style made an immediate impact, even in the first session. If only I'd found Teacher Shinnie sooner, I might not have ended up with all the TT** books that I barely used. I hope this is the real start of my Korean learning journey. 감사합니다, 시니씨 선생님!!
