Hi, I’m Chris! By day I work as a project manager – which basically means I spend a lot of time finding the right words. Switching constantly between German and English has shown me all the little traps and challenges that language learners face.
For me, teaching German isn’t just about drilling grammar or memorizing endless vocabulary lists. It’s about real conversations, curiosity, and those fun “aha!” moments when things finally click. I believe learning a language should give you a voice – one that feels natural, confident, and truly yours. As a teacher, I value a relaxed but clear learning atmosphere. My strength is adapting each lesson to you – whether you prefer structure and clear rules or a more playful, flexible approach.
One of my main focuses is Business German: I’ll help you feel confident in meetings, deliver convincing presentations, and write professional emails that make the right impression.
I also offer lessons that are neurodivergence-friendly. This means flexible methods, clear structures, regular breaks if needed, and plenty of patience. You’ll learn at your own pace – without pressure, but with real progress you can feel. Phong cách dạy & bài học của tôi
My lessons are practical, interactive, and never boring. We’ll work with authentic materials, roleplays, and real-life examples from both everyday life and the workplace. The goal is always the same: to make German something you can actually use, not just something you study.
I offer different formats so you can find exactly what fits your needs – whether it’s focused grammar practice, business communication, or simply building confidence through conversation. Chris tailors the lesson to exactly what I need. He is excellent at combining a good review of skills and challenging me with more difficult tasks. I always know I will leave the lesson with lots to think about and work on. I highly recommend Chris!

I did an intro 30 minutes with Chris and really liked his style of communication and teaching. Our next lesson he had it all planned with specific goals and objectives. But he is also very flexible to address questions and explain certain things.
I was able to ask him a lot of questions that helped me understand German structure vs English. He is able to quickly grasp what I am looking for and give solid examples. He was able to help me compare in English how something is understood or expressed, and then how it is in German. That helped me to see some areas I was unclear on.
I highly recommend Chris.
