Matěj

Matěj is great teacher, and I unreservedly recommend him. He is patient and helps and encourages you to improve your Czech to the next level without overwhelming. For example, he gives me some corrections, but not all possible corrections because that would be too much for me to take in. One of his excellent qualities is that he knows the Czech grammar terms in English. So he can tell you what the declension is for the genitive plural for the žena form, for example. He is also very flexible and can work with you to try our different learning methods and adapt to what you prefer. We have tried several methods, and some work better for me than others. His own experiences as an avid language learner also gives him empathy and helpful experience. Finally, he is very patient. I am sometimes very slow, but he waits for me to try to say something and then encourages me with appropriate corrections.

Matej is great! I hate learning languages, but Matej does all he can to make it fun. I have a terrible sense of humor so Matej makes stories about Deadpool for me with the words I know. He asks me questions about the story and has me conjugate and decline, as much as I can anyway🤪. I can’t recommend Matej enough, happy learning.

Matěj is a wonderful teacher. I am learning a lot and he is a joy to talk to. I always look forward to our next lesson.
