I keep returning to take classes with Maria. Why? Because she is amazing – but also because after taking years of Spanish, I’ve learned that the key to success is enjoying your lessons. Maria brings incredible energy to EVERY lesson! I always look forward to my classes with her. She communicates clearly, in a neutral accent that is easy to understand. She is well versed in talking about any topic ranging from the intellectual to the laugh out loud funny. However, what truly sets Maria apart is her remarkable ability to make you feel comfortable expressing yourself in the Spanish language. Her open-minded amazing personality gives me the confidence to talk about literally anything and everything. Honestly, every class has been a pleasure, full of laughter and learning. I feel so fortunate to have found her. I wholeheartedly recommend Maria to anyone seeking an engaging, enriching, and transformative language learning experience.

Maria is an incredible teacher! I always enjoy our lessons and get tons out of each one. She adapts to the way I like to learn and keeps me challenged in a welcoming environment. She has a quiver full of activities for learning to express ideas and learn grammar principles by doing, as well as a genuine interest in conversation. It's a fun, engaging space to just go for it, make a bunch of mistakes, and get better with feedback adapted to the way that fits me best. Her lessons leave me more inspired to apply myself, full of new ideas in Spanish, and more excited about my language and travel goals. Super grateful. Thanks, Maria!
