With over five years of experience on italki, I’ve had the privilege of helping hundreds of students build confidence in their English skills through engaging conversation and meaningful cultural exchange. As a native English speaker from South Africa, I bring warmth, patience, and a genuine curiosity for people and their stories. Whether you're learning English for travel, work, studies, or everyday life, I aim to make our lessons feel like enjoyable, friendly conversations. (P.S. Teaching on italki for the past 5 years has been a truly rewarding journey. I've met incredible students from around the world and watched them grow in their ability to communicate in English. I'm passionate about language learning and believe in the power of one-on-one connection to help people gain fluency and confidence. My teaching style is friendly, patient, and student-centered. I believe that learning should be a safe space where there are no “stupid” questions—only opportunities to grow and gain confidence. I tailor my speaking speed to match your comfort level and focus our discussions on topics that interest you. My lessons are interactive and designed to give you plenty of speaking practice while gently guiding you with vocabulary, pronunciation, and grammar support.
