I feel so fortunate to have found Carolina. She is the best! Works with me at my level towards my goals. She uses really good materials that are very helpful. I am always happy to have had a lesson with Carolina. Siempre cinco Estrellas!

Outstanding. I chose Carolina because of how clearly she spoke in her video, making it easy for me to understand her. I also was impressed that she is a journalist. I could tell that she was a nice person. She was very helpful and knowledgeable in our first lesson. I'm going begin regular lessons with her immediately.

I'm slowly starting to see improvement in my ability to understand movie dialog, something I had started to see as impossible. In my 5+ years of learning Spanish, I have developed a number of high-level skills, several with Carolina's guidance, yet this one has remained outside my reach for the entire time. I am the only student I know with this difficulty, and I'd like to know if anyone else has experienced it, but don't know how to check. Carolina has endured with me for more than 4-1/2 years. Carolina, know that I appreciate your work more than I can say.

I often say similar things about my lessons with Carolina, because they're consistently true. She works me hard. I feel like my brain is getting a workout. We pick difficult material and it's slow going, but I'm learning steadily. I'm learning about the legal system in Colombia and the standards of evidence, and I'm not involved in police or legal work--these are simply topics that have caught my interest in looking at other aspects of Colombian social life. Wherever you are in your studies of Spanish, Carolina can take you higher, at whatever pace you're ready for.

We are almost 1/3 of the way through a series of 30 short movie fragments designed to help me with comprehension of movie dialog and monolog. As far as I know, my problem is unique, yet Carolina recently helped me break through a similar problem in reading, with spectacular results. She is my ally and thorough guide in helping me with the various nuances of listening comprehension. After living with this problem for 3-1/2 years, I had pretty much given up hope, but now I see new possibilities thanks to her. That's how she works.

We started a process to help me with understanding movie dialog a month ago or so, and we're far enough along that it is clear we are going in the right direction. For 3-1/2 years I have had little or no hope of improving in this area based on my experience, but Carolina can take any student anywhere they want to go. She has already taken me from zero to expert in 2 important areas, always knows exactly what she's doing, and works with me to build skills and get past frustration. She is beyond amazing!
