Certified native English teacher and professional educator with 5+ years of experience. I graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in Linguistics and Japanese and have a specialized knowledge of language learning. 日本語能力試験N2 | Русский язык B1 I specialize in building confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing. I have been teaching for 5+ years and have worked with students of all ages. I specialize in linguistics and am particularly interested in helping students of English practice their pronunciation. I love to share tips about aspiration, common pronunciation mistakes, word stress, sentence rhythm, and register (e.g. formal English vs. informal English). I offer conversational, pronunciation, grammar and vocabulary classes. I will work with you to complete your language learning goal, whether that's to pass a test or to live and work in America. I teach students of all levels, and reinforce knowledge from daily life conversations to breaking news stories. My goal is to make English fun! What kinds of topics do you want to talk about?
