I’m Robert, an experienced ESL coach originally from New York City, now based in the Philippines. With over five years of teaching experience and more than 2,000 conversational English lessons completed, I specialize in guiding intermediate to advanced learners (ages 16+) toward fluency and confidence in real-world communication. My diverse student base spans professionals, academics, and enthusiasts across Europe, Asia, and South America, engaging in dynamic discussions on topics ranging from technology to cultural exchange. NEW STUDENTS: Please begin by booking a 30 minute lesson or Trial as your first lesson or I will politely decline your request. I only teach students ages 16+.
I have taught more than 2,000 lessons and found that most of my students know English well but they lack confidence. I focus on helping my students feel relaxed about their mistakes while giving corrections and suggestions to sound more natural in casual conversation. Phong cách dạy & bài học của tôi
My style is very relaxed and casual so we can focus on speaking naturally and sharing our ideas about any topic you want. During our free conversations I focus on all aspects of English: vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation. We can also practice your listening, reading, and writing skills if you want. I do have short article materials for short lessons (30 minutes) but my main material is a large list of topics about our world which can range from simple to complex ideas.
Many students don't feel confident with their English skills. My focus is to help you feel comfortable and relaxed so you can speak more naturally without being afraid of mistakes. We all make mistakes!Tài liệu giảng dạy của tôi

We had a terrific chat with each others during these lessons! I think Mr Robert is a extremely nice person that we have talked about our life experiences and some funny things!
