As duas aulas de conversação que fizeram foram um prazer grande :) Com outros professores tive experiências tão más que quase deixei de estudar esta língua. Por sorte continuei a procurar outro professor! O Tiago dá-me exatamente o que é que quero, com ele tenho a possibildade de falar muito e ele gosta de ouvir as minhas histórias e de contar as suas. Fala com calma assim percebo muito bem o que diz, em geral não tem de repetir nada. As aulas de conversação têm de ser mesmo assim, o estudante fala muito e percebe bem.

I booked a class with Tiago to practise my Portuguese and to help him get started as an italki teacher. We had a pleasant talk about Portugal, language learning and teaching. Tiago is a very calm and polite teacher. He is very knowledgeable and his pronunciation is very clear. I recommend him to anyone wishing to learn or improve their Portuguese. This was my first lesson with Tiago. It was exactly what I am looking for. He speaks excellent English and of course Portuguese. With only minimal notice of what I wanted from him, he provided me with an hour of the teaching I needed. As soon as the lesson was completed, I booked another lesson from Tiago for tomorrow!

As a teacher myself (of portuguese), it's easy to recognize a professional when I meet one! Tiago is great! He is extremely well prepared! Previously to the lesson, he showed interest in knowing what I was expecting, my level of english, my needs and worries. Then, he carefully prepared the lesson. He really knows what he is doing. I am in the last 2 months of B-1 course and I am preparing for an exam. I needed extra help with 3 of the verb forms. My regular classes are in Portuguese only which is fine for the conjugations; however, I needed explanations in English in order to understand the nuances of the verb usages. Tiago taught me in English and by the end of our 9 lessons, my knowledge of my subject was much improved and I am feeling more confident about taking the exam. Tiago is very patient, speaks clearly in English and Portuguese, and knows the languages. I am happy I chose Tiago to help me and I will definitely use his services again in the future.
