Another enjoyable and beneficial lesson from Tom Sensei. I highly recommend his lessons to anyone at any level looking to improve their Japanese in an effective manner.

Given that it's already lesson 75, I suppose it's time for a review. Tom is diligent, and works hard to cement proper grammar rules and practices in your everyday speech, even going so far as to correct seemingly mundane things, for the sake of making you sound more natural. Be warned, you should expect to be corrected regularly. A lot of teachers on this platform struggle to provide in-depth explanations (especially in English) that would help you answer all the 'whys' you may have picked up during your language journey. Tom has the breadth and depth of knowledge to tackle these and more in a way that's easy to understand. I originally started taking lessons to prepare for a 3 month trip to Japan. This trip was above and beyond amazing, and with only 5 months of lessons with Tom, I was able to communicate adequately enough to have conversations with locals. Limited conversations of course, but with Tom's instruction, I was able to see a side of Japan most tourists miss out on.
