Hello! I am Domingo, I am originally from Hong Kong, and I am currently pursuing my bachelor's degree in this beautiful European country: Poland.
Philosophy / Cultural Studies is my academic major right now.
Generally speaking, I am a very laid-back and sympathetic person. Any students participating in my classes can expect great warmth and friendliness!
Apart from imparting knowledge in Chinese to my pupils, I am also incredibly interested in philosophical conversations, would like to invite you to delve deep into such topics if you are interested as well! Never hesitate to speak in Chinese :)

I have given many tutorial classes to people from various age groups and nations, hence I am acquainted with the fact that everyone deserves their own unique method of being taught; moreover, the experiences have given me first-hand understanding of different frustrations one encounters in a language-learning process. In my classes you can freely choose to learn either Traditional or Simplified Chinese characters, with other preferences such as Taiwanese or Mainland form of vocabulary and expressions also being optional.
We can watch videos or films together, or we can stay focused on something more serious, such as exam-oriented practices; it is all up to you! You can suggest the type of lessons and homework to me, and I will ask more about your expectations in our first classes.

Today I learnt about the means of transportation and the direction in Cantonese. It will be helpful when I travel to Hong Kong. We also talked about some culture in our country, and it was so interesting to see the similarities between the two cultures. Can't wait for useful and fun lessons soon.

We had a very enjoyable conversation and lesson. We worked on some challenging language points and Domingo has helped me to read, type and understand characters better. And, of course, I always enjoy the music videos he brings to class. This one had historical significance and learning history is an interest of mine too.

It is so happy to learn Cantonese with him, and it is helpful. I hope to take a closer step to this language in the future. Domingo is nice and very patient with my zero knowledge about Cantonese :D He also taught me useful phrases for daily conversation.
