Hi, I’m Josep, a Barcelona native with a passion for languages and cultures. As a certified teacher and translator, I specialize in Spanish, Catalan, and French, drawing on my experiences living in Spain, France, Ireland, and now Italy. My international background helps me connect with students from all over the world and share the joy of language learning. I got a certification in Education (C.A.P) specialised in teaching languages, at the Autonomous University of Barcelona in 2007. I also got a certification in Teaching Spanish as a foreign language at Cálamo & Cran, Barcelona. My experience in teaching in France, Spain and Ireland has allowed me to improve my language skills, as well as to increase my ability to adapt to new cultures and environments. I have been teaching at High Schools in France, as a language instructor for companies in Barcelona and Paris, and in private lessons during my years in these countries. I love helping and motivating students improve their language skills, which makes them return to me for more lessons.

I've been taking Catalan classes with Josep and I'm very happy with him as a teacher. Lessons include grammar and vocabulary study, but there are also lots of opportunities to speak and develop fluency. Josep explains things really clearly, giving examples and error correction as we go. I feel I'm making a lot of progress and would definitely recommend Josep as a teacher.

In total I had more than 200 lessons with Josep and he helped me to reach a very high level en Català, almost from level zero to level C1. He always motivated me to keep going when things got difficult and supported me always to reach my goals.
Josep organized perfect and adequat material for each lesson and always corrected my exercises and tasks that I did at home. The lessons are always well prepared, competent, varied and makes fun.

Me gusta como enseña y explica este profesor.
Además de saber mucho, aclara todas mis dudas con paciencia, ejemplos y material.
Me cuesta hablar el idioma pero con él me siento muy segura y puedo.
He realizado varias clases con él, sabe en todo momento que enseñarme y lo tiene todo bien estructurado.
Cuando termine este pack, compraré otro.
