Barbara Barbier

Barbara has been excellent at helping me practice French conversation at a level which allows me to regain confidence after many years of not practicing. She facilitates interesting and varied topics that were also basic enough for me to not get overwhelmed. She is a patient and adaptable teacher with a fun personality which keeps the session engaging.

It was my second class with Barbara and I enjoyed them both very much. For me personally the best way to learn is by talking, especially in a secure atmosphere in which one doesn’t feel judged. This has been the case for me in both lessons, there was an open minded joyfull energy with lots of laughter and positive feelings.

Great first conversation, very natural, varied and dynamic. Barbara really made sure to include topics I was interested in and listened carefully to what I said. I look forward to my next lesson.
