These days, I only learn with Leah. Even after taking long breaks, I’ve noticed that my Korean has really improved. She always has really fun lessons and helps me to learn with things that I enjoy. She’s very patient and helps me to be comfortable. I tried several teachers on iTalki, but Leah is by far my favorite. She speaks English extremely well which is very helpful. One thing that I appreciate is that she never underestimates my knowledge. I had a teacher recommend I start from the beginning and I was very discouraged, but Leah always checks for what I know and doesn’t assume. I have learned a lot of new things and improved on old things. My main reason for tutoring with iTalki is because I wasn’t comfortable speaking. I often only texted so I couldn’t have conversations well. These days, I have begun to talk a lot faster and I’m able to think about what I want to say quicker. I used to write everything down, but now I can think about what I want to say. Leah is the absolute best!

Leah makes Korean so fun and enjoyable. She is kind, creative, and I'm really excited to continue our lessons! :)

As usual, Leah's lessons are always in high spirits! Conversations with her are always interactive, entertaining, and as well as relatable. I always come out with learning something new in every lesson without being overwhelmed at all. It simply feels amazing to be in her company. I'm always looking forward to the next time I'll see her again!

My teacher helped me learn with music! I love to listen to k-pop and she helps by teaching how to pronounce the words and what they mean! It helps because k-pop is catchy and I learn a lot of vocabulary.

We discussed a range of topics, from historical cultural facts to silly and fun experiences! I was able to get to know her before diving straight into a lesson, which made the atmosphere laidback and comfortable. She introduced me to lots of entertaining Korean media and made language learning all the more exciting! ☺️
