Serge is great. He is amazing at every language he speaks and a great tutor to talk to. He makes his lessons entertaining while still very educational and he is a great person to be able to talk to and doesn’t keep it too formal or informal. Overall great tutor thoroughly recommend

I’ve been learning Russian exclusively with Sergei on italki (almost 50 lessons) and I can say that he is everything I expect from a professional teacher. Very pedagogical, forward moving, a great patience and at the same time very understanding and flexible. He has helped me to progress my Russian talking, writing and understanding by a huge amount. Sergey is my first teacher here on itaki and he's been excellent so far! I really feel like I'm learning the language properly. He provides good study materials as well as new words and concepts not mentioned in the texts. Plus he is patient and learning with him is always pleasant.

I had been studying Russian for about 2 months before I decided to join italki for a more structured approach and, without a doubt, Sergey is the best you will find here. He is incredibly patient, but at the same time strict. He always seems to find the easiest way to explain a topic or grammar rule. He has also created quite possibly the best Anki deck I’ve ever seen. On top of everything he’s enjoyable just to talk to, and he will sometimes send you funny videos to watch while he checks your homework.
