Hi, I'm Michelle! I'm from Sydney, Australia. My native language is English, which I speak with a standard Australian accent, and I also speak German fluently. I am an extremely experienced teacher, as I spent 20 years teaching mathematics before shifting my focus to language education. I teach both English and German here on italki. I am an active language learner as well, so I have an excellent understanding of the challenges students face and how best to overcome them. I also provide general language coaching services, plus mathematics lessons for high school students. -- Please note: I only teach adults and teenagers, not young children (minimum age 12) --

The first lesson with Michelle just ended and I would like to recommend this teacher with all my heart. Michelle is friendly and ready to help you with finding the right word to express your thoughts. She asked some questions about my level and goals in English. At the end of the lesson, I obtained a short review of my skills and some further recommendations. I felt that I was in the hands of a professional :) I am really happy to find a good teacher to improve my English.
