Yukari

Yukari-Sensei is a very diligent teacher, helping me plug all the (many) holes in my knowledge as someone who began my learning journey self-taught. She is a very thorough, excellent teacher, who really pushes me effectively to broaden my understanding of Japanese. I love our classes, and it really feels like she cares about my progress (which always motivates me to do my best).

The most exceptional teacher, Yukari-san is super professional, hugely encouraging and an absolute joy to learn Japanese with. In the space of about a year, I can really see the progression now and my confidence is much improved. I cannot recommend her enough. ありがとうございます

I highly recommend Yukari-san’s personalized Japanese classes, especially for learners seeking to move from intermediate or low-advanced to truly advanced or even superior levels. As a language pedagogy professional, I rarely feel compelled to leave reviews on iTalki, but I am consistently impressed by the quality of the materials Yukari prepares. Her ability to extract useful expressions and structures from texts is superb, and she beautifully weaves them into discussions on engaging topics. The materials she creates for a single one-hour class could easily sustain a week of study in a college-level program—the richness and thoroughness are simply remarkable. While her classes are strongly form-focused, the authenticity and natural flow of conversation are never sacrificed. I train nearly 40 Chinese/Japanese teachers at college level every year, and I would place Yukari’s pedagogical effectiveness in the top 5%.

Yukari-sensei fait preuve d’une remarquable intelligence émotionnelle, alliée à une bienveillance authentique. Dès notre première rencontre, j’ai perçu une approche à la fois rigoureuse et humaine, fondée sur une solide expérience pédagogique. Après avoir exploré plusieurs options, j’ai enfin trouvé une professeure dont la méthode me correspond vraiment (le + est qu'elle parle français). Elle sait créer un cadre clair, rassurant et stimulant ^^ un véritable atout pour ceux qui ont besoin d’un accompagnement ajusté. Tout est expliqué avec précision, à un rythme adapté, dans une atmosphère qui donne envie d’apprendre. Il n’est pas étonnant qu’elle soit si demandée : petit conseil ; pensez à réserver à l’avance.

Every lesson with Yukari-sensei is such a pleasure. She always takes the time to explain in detail the grammar points that I'm unfamiliar with, introduces me to new vocabulary and idiomatic expressions every week, and gives me ample opportunity to practice conversation at various levels of formality. Plus, every lesson is a lot of fun, thanks to Yukari-sensei's many interests and sense of humor. 先生、本当にありがとうございます！
