Thomas is such a patient and encouraging teacher. I enjoy talking about many interesting cultural, social and worldwide current events, and to boot, these topics introduce new and varied vocabulary. Thomas also has a myriad of additional learning resources (iTalki and other web-based platforms) from songs, in-depth cultural articles and grammar guides. It can be difficult, but I'm grateful for the opportunity to think and speak in another language and learn so much about how another culture experiences the world. Thomas is definitely your best resource for learning Swiss German!

It is always a great conversational lesson with Thomas. The sessions are relaxed and engaging, and he helps me learn many new expressions that are very useful in everyday German. His explanations are clear, and the lessons are always practical and enjoyable.
