Hi, I’m Sarah, and I am a native English speaker and a teacher, writer and artist.
I have set up two businesses in the past two years; I sell my artwork professionally and also house sit, looking after people’s pets! I love to travel and these businesses help me do this - I love the work I do.
I have also recently completed writing my first novel, which I am looking to send to editors for publishing in the coming months. In my free time I like gardening, reading and I run a creatives’ collective in my local town and we welcome any creatives, musicians, artists and writers, sharing our projects and experiences in a relaxed environment.Tôi với tư cách là giáo viên
I love to help all students who want to improve their English.
I am particularly interested in helping anyone who works in the creative industry, those looking to begin their own creative business.
I have experience teaching adult learners and children, and have specialised in creative writing courses and general studies for beginners and higher level students.

I am flexible in my teaching style and want to hear what you want! I am happy to use our lessons either to have a general discussion in a relaxed environment, or to focus on your current work or project.
This may include writing website content, creative writing, academic essays or preparing presentations.
To inspire and motivate you, I like to use real-world material, such as news articles, book extracts and TED talks, in my lessons. These can be tailored to your interests or you can ask me to surprise you!
I always want my lessons to be something my students look forward to, so we can discuss how best to use our classes!

Owner and artistI successfully run my own business, communicating with my clients and building my own website and social media presence. Owner and House SitterI look after people's homes and pets when they go on holiday. I have gained the experience of building good rapport with my house owning clients, building up great professional relationships and a good level of trust, being left with their homes and pets.
I will build this level of trust and friendship with my students and continually make them feel comfortable and happy with my lessons.
2020 - 2021
TeacherI have been an online tutor for Langlion Academy for five months now and have had four regular students in this time.
I teach three children aged 6-11 and really enjoy our energetic and creative lessons.
I also teach an adult learner and each week we have interesting discussions. I send a podcast before each lesson and we discuss the topics using a PowerPoint with question prompts. We always have an interesting and informative discussion!

The creative writing lessons are great! As a homework I've been answering Sarah's questions that help to explore the world and characters of the story. And then during the lesson we discuss it and it's some quality talking as well :) So it's both writing and talking and a lot of food for thought. Plus, the support and inspiration are amazing!
