Hi! I'm Alice, As a Chinese teacher with 8 years of experience and over 9,000 hours of teaching, I'm skilled at helping you master grammar and vocabulary in a fun and engaging way! My students range from beginners to advanced levels, covering all over the world (such as the United States, Japan, Europe, etc.
Outside the classroom, I love movies, animations, and history, these often become lively materials for my lessons! Whether you're preparing for the HSK, learning business Chinese, or want to chat about Chinese myths and traditional culture, I can help you speak more like a native.

I'm an intermediate student looking to form new relationships and gain new perspectives along my learning journey. 雅雅老师 is a great fit. She is well prepared for class, asks me excellent questions, is always focused, and very patient. I chose to do classes watching movies together, breaking down the grammar and new language points. Not only am I learning new words, but I also see how they are used in conversation, and then I get to use them in our class, which really helps them stick. I always enjoy our class time.

Alice is one of the best teacher I ever had. I have changed language teachers with other language in italki. But I never changed in Mandarin. Fortunately, I found Alice 1st when learning Mandarin.
She really care about my Mandarin learning. As requested by me, she corrects my tones. She helps me with my HSK preparation, make sure I can say out the sentences aloud, send me Quizlets to review what we studied & encourages me to speak in Mandarin.
I have seen great improvements is my Mandarin especially. I just passed my HSK 3 just 2 months ago.

Today Alice told me all about the Chinese New Year and showed me many short videos during the lesson, so I could understand it even better. I absolutely loved it!!! I am very lucky to have such a good teacher! I am really looking forward to our next lesson!

Been a student of Alice since 2018 when i first met her when i went to China to study at a language school for 6 weeks. During that time my learning was supercharged. I have been a student of hers online now for almost 5 years. She still brings that skill and preparedness to online lessons. My understanding of the Chinese language I credit almost entirely to her. An excellent teacher who I still look forward to having weekly lessons with even after all these years.

I am so lucky to have Alice as my teacher! Today she showed me everything about the evolution of traditional Chinese clothes. We watched many videos on how each different piece of clothing was made and Alice explained to me the various steps. She then taught me some Chinese collocations which come from those times. Alice is such a good teacher! I don't think I will ever forget today's class! ❤️
