MiJin

Today, we talked about the different characteristics of ideal jobs, a lesson focused on speaking that was prepared for me because I requested a little more emphasis on speaking than the traditional textbooks give. I'm thankful that Mijin has been customizing my lessons and helping me every step of the way!

Meine Lehrerin ist absolut höflich und sehr geduldig. Sie erklärt es so, dass ich es verstehe und zu Hause wiederholen kann. Ich freue mich auf jede Stunde!!

Today we reviewed how to compare two subjects using 부다, and then learned how to use 제일 and 중에서 to express preferences within groups. My 선생님 continues to be helpful and encouraging, even when I forget basic grammar principles and misspell words. I'm finally at a point where I can have basic conversations and I honestly never thought I could get to this point in my learning. I've tried many different ways of learning Korean, but have found that having a solid private tutor has helped me grow exponentially and kept me accountable in my Korean language journey. I've grown so much over the course of a few months and would highly recommend her to anyone who is new to learning Korean!

I continue to enjoy taking lessons with MiJin. She's been happy to adapt to requests that I've made to try and make my lessons even more useful for me and, as always, is patient and pleasant during our lesson times.
