Japanese N5 classes: You’ve probably already noticed, but I’m not Japanese! My expertise lies in teaching Japanese from an English language perspective, cutting out any difficult grammar explanations at relating it to what you already know, as simply as possible! I’m most suited for those who need structured learning! I’ve had to learn it as a second language too, so I know all the tips and tricks!
English conversation practice: I try to tailor my lessons to whatever suits the students needs, be that going through homework and exam preparation, or simply chatting to improve on speaking skills. For Japanese learners:
こんにちは!
I teach beginners Japanese up to N5 level!
Lessons are booked here and homework and notes can be found on my website, pocketjapanese!
I also run beginners 10 week group classes 3 times a year :)
In class, we cover reading, speaking and listening.
The final 1/6 of the lesson will be writing!
My classes are well structured and easy to follow… 行こうか。
Let’s do conversation practice! I find this is an area many foreign languages learners want to practice. We can have a chat where we just talk to each other about any subject, or we can choose a subject or situation (such as checking into a hotel) and spend the lesson practicing possible scenarios you may encounter.4.9

Louise is a sympathetic and empassionate teacher. It’s a huge pleasure to talk with her and so beneficial to learn new vocabulary and sentence structure.
