Anna is an outstanding teacher. I have studied Italian for many years through a variety of methods and, as a result, I have some gaps in my knowledge. When one of these gaps becomes apparent she can quickly adjust the lesson to help me improve in those areas that I've missed. I especially appreciate the thorough written notes that she creates during the lesson. This is so helpful to me when I review the material. She has given me many excellent resources to help me in my studies. I feel like I am finally making progress. I'm so glad to have the opportunity to study with Anna!

I am preparing with Arianna for CILS C1, and, more importantly, I am filling gaps in my knowledge. She is a great teacher, very motivating and flexible. She provides me with materials based my personal needs and explains points that I don't get from the first attempt in different ways. I have worked with many English and Italian teachers in the past, but Arianna definitely stands out.

I have been using an app (DuoLingo) to learn Italian, and I realize it will only get me so far. While it has taken me through many basics and even intermediate topics, I know from other efforts that I continue to have questions on the basics (and some areas where “I don’t know what I don’t know”). I came to italki looking for a professional teacher to help me overcome those limitations without making me start at the very beginning; I was searching for a teacher with a combination of flexibility and structure to cover the appropriate areas in an organized way. I found that teacher in Anna. For our first lesson, I explained what I had I done to date and what I wanted to do. Our next lesson did start with basics, but Anna used that to point out some errors I had made in our initial conversation. Just what I needed. As we have completed more lessons, each is a combo of topics she wants to address (the structure) and topics she picks up from our interactions. Very much recommended!
