Youjeong always brings such a nice blend of cultural topics and new vocabulary to her classes. She's knowledgeable and easy to talk to, which allows me to practice more difficult grammar points or words with confidence.

유정선생님 has definitely helped me elevate my Korean now that I reflect on how much I have learned this year. Each class is worth it even when it feels extremely challenging and overwhelming. Her professionalism shines through since she is very patient and knows how to steer students back into the lesson. My journey learning Korean has been tough and it has been hard to self analyze how much I learn. However, when I look at my notes and try reading material that I could not understand a year ago, I see the improvement. If you are looking for a patient, understanding and knowledgable teacher that will give you the assignments and lesson plans to boost your understanding, she is the one to go to. 선생님 정말 감사합니다!

주로 TOPIKⅡ 쓰기 부분을 향상시키기 위해 신청한 수업인데 선생님과 수업 목적 및 진행 방식에 대해 미리 상담한 후 수업을 시작하게 되었습니다. 선생님께서는 매일 뉴스 기사 한 편씩을 제공해 주시고 모르는 단어나 표현을 정리한 뒤 이해한 대로 내용을 요약합니다. 이런 자기주도 학습에 해당하며 배경지식도 넓힐 수 있고 특히 TOPIKⅡ 54번 쓰기 문제에도 많은 도움이 될 수 있을 것 같습니다. 오늘은 첫 수업으로 선생님과 함께 52번 쓰기 문제를 풀어 봤는데 많이 배우고 보람을 느낄 수 있는 수업이었습니다. 선생님께서 설명을 명확하고 이해하기 쉽게 전달해 주셔서 수업 내용을 쉽게 이해할 수 있었습니다. 다음 수업도 기대됩니다. I enrolled in this course mainly to improve my TOPIK II writing skills. After discussing the course objectives and structure with the teacher in advance, I began the class. The teacher provides one news article every day. After organizing unfamiliar words & expressions, I summarize the content based on my understanding as a form of self study. It helps me in expanding my background knowledge and it will be very helpful for TOPIK II Writing Question 54. In today’s first lesson, we did Question 52 together. It was a very rewarding class in which I learned a lot. The teacher explained everything clearly & I look forward to our next lesson

유정선생님 is a great teacher! I'm always looking forward to our lessons and she meets me exactly where I am in my abilities that day. I get more and more confident each time we speak and our lessons are a good mix of learning new things and speaking about topics that interest me.
