Nguyen The Vu

Anh The Vu is a helpful and supportive teacher. He is very patient and encourages a lot of speaking practice. I appreciate that he helps me learn new vocabulary and repeats key words. I like that he uses basic conversation to create a thoughtful and unique lesson. I'm excited to understand more and speak better Vietnamese. Cảm ơn anh!

Again a fantastic learning session! I am a beginner in Vietnamese and I already learned the most important basic words and also how to speak basic sentences with the help of Vu. Great conversational style of teaching. It is like a chat with a friend, but Vu continues to add new words and topics to aid my language development. We continue to share about Vietnamese and my local culture almost entirely through Vietnamese.

Vu's lesson today was very good. We focused on talking about the weather and the differences between driving in weather between US and Vietnam. Even if I wasn't able to put together all the details quite fast enough, Vu was very good with helping me along so we could keep the conversation going. He is very polite and helps exactly when you have something to say.

In this lesson Vu helped me practice using my vocabulary to talk to different people (such as mother or wife). We used a song to learn more beautiful language and to learn more of Vietnamese culture. Vu is great at using as much Vietnamese in the lesson as possible and speaking at a level so I can understand.

Took a long break but I’m so glad I’m back! Vu’s teaching style is very spontaneous and iterative which suits me. So glad to see you doing well and see you soon!
