This year with Meg San has been very productive. I always leave my lesson feeling like I have improved even when I dont feel I did my best. Meg Sans energy and teaching style is very motivating and I look for to 2025 improving with Meg san

Meg is an exceptional teacher. She was born and raised in Japan, and she has experienced a variety of cultures as a result of traveling to many countries around the world. Because of that, she understands the nuances of Eastern and Western culture well. During lessons, this helps her bridge the gap in understanding between my preconceived notions and the reality of Japanese culture and language. In terms of lessons, she encourages a free flowing and fluid conversation structure, encouraging you to try new sentence formations and reinforcing previous grammatical lessons she taught you before. I thoroughly enjoy lessons with Meg because I am able to use and learn words and phrases I would utilize in day to day life. Starting from absolute zero, I would say my comfort with speaking Japanese has increased significantly, and I’m happy to say that the 10+ lessons I’ve taken with her were absolutely worth it!

Meg was very kind and helpful. She was patient even when I had troubles speaking. The notes she took during the lesson will be very useful for studying.

Had my first lesson. She was great! We assessed my current level, my goals and class expectations, and even began reviewing material. It was a good balance of fun and structure, and English and Japanese use. Look forward to more lessons with her!

Meg Sensei is so kind and supportive. In the trial lesson she was so helpful helping me structure the sentences and wrote down the new words that I didn't know. Even though I speak very little Japanese she was so kind and patient to help me and made me feel very comfortable speaking the language.
