Marthe Desforges

Marthe est vraiment un professeur extraordinaire. Ses cours sont très personnalisés et sont créés pour répondre à mes besoins. Elle est toujours heureuse de répondre à mes questions, même entre nos cours. Merci beaucoup Marthe!

I will write this comment in English because, English being my native tongue, I wish to express fully how wonderful these lessons have been. Marthe has shown to be such a wonderful, patient sympathetic teacher with an easy smile and likeable manner which will immediately put a nervous student (that's me) at ease. She gauges the standard you are at during the introductory lesson and then uses that as a starting level to prepare future course work to the needs of the student. She uses a variety of tools with which to bring the lesson alive to the pupil, including light hearted discussions on topical media events, audio clips, video clips, grammar aids and of course continuous one to one chat. No two lessons are the same. Marthe also has an excellent command of English which allows easy communication if required. You will receive homework to allow you to brush up, practice and to refresh aspects of any weak areas that may be apparent during your lessons. Best of luck to all !!

Marthe is an outstanding teacher. She is always warm and friendly, she tailors each lesson to make sure that it is right for my level and learning needs and uses interesting activities in order to practice and firm up my understanding. Marthe always provides useful notes and feedback and I wholly recommend her as a teacher in French.

C'était un leçon d'essai mais elle m'a écouté afin qu'elle puisse m'evaluer mon niveau. Elle a discuté d'un plan d'apprentissage possible. Elle était professionnelle et amicale. Je vais réserver quelques leçons supplémentaires!
