My name is Rie. I was born and raised in Japan. I graduated university in the United States. I’ve lived in Singapore for 2 years and the states for several years.    こんにちは、リエです！日本語（にほんご）のネイティヴスピーカーですが、あめりかの大学（だいがく）を卒業（そつぎょう）しています。シンガポールに2年間（ねんかん）住（す）んだこともあり、アメリカにも数年（すうねん）住（す）んでいたことがあります;)

I have experience teaching Japanese from beginner to proficient level students. I help prepare for interviews, Japanese exams, daily conversations, for travel, watching and understanding Japanese movies and anime without subtitles. I'm excited to help you better understand Japanese culture and any questions you may have. 現在（げんざい）、初心者（しょしんしゃ）から上級者（じょうきゅうしゃ）まで日本語（にほんご）を教（おし）えています。仕事（しごと）のインタビューの準備（じゅんび）、日本語（にほんご）の試験（しけん）、日常会話（にちじょうかいわ）や旅行（りょこう）。また日本（にほん）の映画（えいが）やアニメを字幕（じまく）なしで理解（りかい）したい人（ひと）など、色々（いろいろ）な生徒（せいと）さんとレッスンをしています。日本（にほん）の文化（ぶんか）についてより理解（りかい）したい方（かた）などの質問（しつもん）にもお答（こた）えします！

She always listens to you very attentively and helps to correct your grammar. A very bright and sunny person that you can feel very safe and comfortable to talk with. Rie is awesome! Such a good first trial lesson - I don't know ANY JAPANESE and I came away with some phrases and materials to practice. She also helped correct me to ensure I was pronouncing them well. Furthermore, she was easy to work with and made me feel comfortable even though I didn't know anything. I really appreciated that!
