He is a good teacher that was able to fix my speaking mistakes and offer alternative sentences that sound much more natural & native-speaker-like.

Er ist sehr freundlich und es macht Spaß sich mit ihm zu unterhalten. Ich hatte bereits in der ersten Stunde Erfolgserlebnisse da ich nun selbstständig kleine Sätze bilden kann und die ersten Vokabeln lernen und sprechen üben kann. Vielen lieben Dank, ich freue mich auf weitere Unterrichtsstunden ^^

it was a pleasure to be learning Vietnamese with hoa phat luong. it was a fruitful and delightful lesson. i like these kinds of lessons the most. free and open conversations. and he seemed very attentive and engaged during the lesson. His way of teaching made me relax and that created a comfortable atmosphere for me to make mistakes and just speak without being so self conscious. i believe in learning foreign languages through sharing stories and being interest in each other cultures and lives, in a informal and authentic way. and i think teacher understood that for me the most important is comprehensive learning. like making myself understood and understand other people are the most important. teacher also seemed both patient and passionate in teaching vietnamese. that transfer much desire and motivation for me keep growing and learning vietnamese. he wrote down new words for me and I got a lot out of our time. thank you for your effort 😊 teaching me vietnamese today. cảm ơn em:)

This was an excellent lesson for me as I began learning Vietnamese. The teacher taught me how to make a greeting based on the relation of who talks to who in Vietnamese culture. I felt comfortable to speak many phrases. In the last part of the 45-minute lesson, the teacher taught me the 6 tones of pronunciation and it also became a great experience.
