ITA/ENG: Ciao a tutti, sono Chiara e sono italiana. Vivo in Puglia, dove mi sono laureata in Scienze della Mediazione Linguistica. Lavoro come analista di ricerca, ma sono anche una pittrice. Viaggio molto all'estero e ho vissuto in Inghilterra per un anno, dove ho cominciato ad insegnare l'italiano agli stranieri ed è diventata una mia grande passione! Ho 4 anni di esperienza d'insegnamento.
Hi, I'm Chiara and I'm Italian. I live in Apulia, where I took my degree in Linguistic Mediation. I work as a research analyst and I'm a painter. Chiara Pepe is all those adjectives: energetic yet calm, caring yet diligent, playful yet patient, casual and disciplined and always always creative in the moment. I think to carry on a conversation with someone you don't know that well, and whose Italian is as rusty as mine, she has to be like a jazz musician, always willing to pivot and go down a new road. Chiara is the best. She's patient, kind, and so much fun to talk to. I've had about 10 lessons with Chiara and my speaking and listening skills have improved significantly. I'm so glad I decided to take lessons despite my anxieties and insecurities. I already feel more prepared for my meeting with the Italian consilate and for my future visit to Italy.
