Natalia

Natalia and I are having a great time reading and discussing the short stories of the Italian writer Alberto Moravia. She gives me ample opportunity and encouragement to express my understanding and opinions of the stories. My Italian is definitely improving with our lessons.

Natalia is an excellent teacher. I don't have any specific plan and I've only acquainted myself with Italian through a 10-minute exercise a day app, so my skills are very basic. I can barely make a sentence I intend, despite having some beginner vocabulary. Natalia has a wonderful and warm personality: with patience and curiosity she allows for my growing pains to be less prevalent. The learning process becomes fun, challenging but interesting. And I always learn something besides Italian language: we have bought up topics of gender equality in a language formation, job interest among youth, origins of different kinds of pasta, etc. All of this with my very modest skills. I'm very excited I get to spend time with such and excellent teacher and human!

Natalia is absolutely among the finest language teachers I have ever encountered. I study both Portuguese and Italian with her and every lesson is a joy.

I'm so glad I found Natalia when I needed to learn Brazilian Portuguese for work! She understood what level to start at considering my previous knowledge of Spanish, and perfectly tailored the intensive course to a suitable pace for me. In less than three months I held my first presentation in Portuguese at work, and she has continued to help me improve ever since to a completely fluent level. I cannot recommend her enough!

Natalia doesn’t just teach a language she makes it an enjoyable experience. She always answers and encourages me throughout my process with patience and turns my mistakes into learning opportunities. Thanks to her teaching style, Italian feels more approachable and genuinely fun. I’m eager to keep learning with her!

I am gaining a wonderful appreciation of a great Italian writer through my lessons with Natalia. And I am practicing a higher level of speaking, which is a great gift.
