We had some very interesting discussions today about Thanksgiving, differences in family culture between Tanzania and America, private vs public schools, and the conflict between America and Venezuela. It's always a joy to converse with Mwalimu Pius.

Had a very interesting conversation with Mwalimu Pius today. We focused on the history of the Swahili language, which was quite fascinating. This led to numerous side conversations about culture and historical events. Mwalimu Pius is a great storyteller and lover of history.

Had a great lesson with Mwalimu Pius today. After catching up on the current events, I did my best to summarize an article about an infamous conman from the 1930's. Mwalimu helped me with a number of new words and asked follow-up questions. It was a very good lesson.

Mwalimu Pius is such a passionate teacher. He always has plenty of stories to share. Today we discussed what being an Mswahili really means. It was a very interesting discussion.

Had a great lesson with Mwalimu Pius today. We talked about the Tanzanian elections, election of Mamdani in New York and many other things. It was a very enlightening lesson. Looking forward to next week's lesson.

We had a very interesting lesson today about the history of Portugal and its role in Africa. We focused on factors leading to the decline of Portugal's power. Mwalimu also provided some sets of related words that were very similar to each other. It was a good exercise in differentiating similar words.
