Honestly, I can say that these are the most enjoyable lessons I’ve had with a tutor. The atmosphere is very pleasant, the communication is great, the textbook is excellent, and there is a strong motivation to invest all my time in learning the language. Thank you so much!

ひろこ先生の授業を受けてきましたが、とても良かったです。説明するときにとても気を配ってくれて、とてもわかりやすく説明してくれます。私のレベルに合わせてレッスンをしてくれて、難しすぎず簡単すぎず完璧です。 私は先生の授業を本当にお勧めします、素晴らしい先生です！ I just had a lesson with ひろこ先生 and was great! She is really attencious when explaining and make it really easy to understand. She tailored her lessons to my level and is perfect, not too hard nor too easy. I really recommend her lessons, she is a great teacher!

I feel so motivated to converse with Hiroko sensei! She listens so attentively, lets me get the words/expressions out without jumping in to correct me all the time, offers constructive feedback and more natural ways of saying things, and always brings a pleasant, engaged demeanor to every lesson. She makes me feel like I can in time become a fluent speaker!

This is one of the first times I was quite eager to leave a review, because Hiroko-sensei is an exceptional teacher and I wish I’d found her earlier. She is clearly a well-trained and experienced educator; she had a very well thought-out lesson plan and ensured we completed all lesson objectives. Although this was only our second lesson together, I can tell she deeply cares about her students and their progress. The class was a perfect blend of challenging and encouraging, and she’s very skilled at calibrating the class content to my level and specifications (i.e. I wanted some specialized vocabulary, and slowly we are working through some tough words!). Hiroko-sensei also remembered my background, what we’d discussed last lesson, and my weak points in Japanese. I am confident she can help anyone meet their goals in Japanese!

Hiroko sensei is helping me on many levels to improve my Japanese speaking ability. She gently corrects, maintains focus throughout the lesson, has a very pleasant demeanor, and encourages me to express myself. I have gone through a number of teachers on this platform, experienced numerous teaching styles, some good some not so good, and I can wholeheartedly say that she is one of the best that I have encountered. I am continuing my study with Hiroko sensei indefinitely!

ひろこ先生 is a very polite and kind teacher. After the lesson, she sent me a message with corrections and helpful vocabulary that was troublesome during the lesson. She was very patient when I had difficulties and provided quick and helpful guidance. ありがとうございます!
