My name is Mar, I am a qualified Spanish teacher and although I may not look like a typical Spanish to you, I am.
I was born in Burgos, which is where Spanish was born and it is one of the cities where it is best spoken.
Currently I live in Marbella, Malaga where I have been teaching Spanish for 4 years and before in Barcelona and London.
I love to travel and see different cultures.
And I love teaching Spanish.
I have a lot of patience and my experience with students of all ages, helps me to develop enjoyable and fun classes.
My mission is to give always 100% in every class and adapt every minute of it to your needs in order to optimize your time and make the most of every lesson.

I adapt my teaching method to your level, need and rhythm. The materials that I use in the lessons are diverse: text books, grammar books, audios, videos, exercises, internet resources and other materials that I prepare individually for each student. We will work on the four linguistic skills: listening comprehension, written comprehension, oral expression and written expression, with a special emphasis on Spanish grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. A wonderful first lesson with Mar, after a trial. She’s going through basics with me, making sure I know them well, filling in any gaps, but also moving on rapidly as needed. She’s very warm and makes the lesson relaxed and fun, whilst also being precise in what she teaches. Thank you!
