Welcome to my Italki profile! I'm Sanne, a 27-year-old living in the Netherlands, frequently found in London or on the move. Through many travels and living abroad in India and Portugal, I found a passion for language learning, learning a local language truly opened doors and enriched my experiences. I've spent the past year teaching Dutch to expat friends, and now here on Italki. 😊

As a teacher I have adopted a personalized conversational approach to teaching Dutch, tailored to your daily life, interests, and goals. My teaching style focuses on creating a comfortable and non-forced environment, encouraging you to build confidence and speak from the start while staying motivated throughout. I am integrating many tips and tricks I have tried out over the years with your unique goals, interests, and requests to create a tailored learning experience.

My classes are customized to your wishes and needs. If you are a complete beginner we will start with the basics, focusing on everyday conversations about your day and week, small talk, family and friends, hobbies, and personal interests. If you are an intermediate/advanced learner, we will use topic-driven discussions relevant to your daily life, specific situations of interest or topics of interest. I reinforce learning with a variety of materials like texts, little assignments, listening, and recognizing that repetition is key for retention. However, there is no one-fits-all approach and I'm flexible to adapt to suit your unique needs and time availability.5.0

Eerste ontmoeting met Saane. Ze is erg vriendelijk en aardig. We hebben plannen gemaakt voor de volgende lessen. We gaan ons concentreren op basiszaken en alledaagse situaties.
