Duilius is an excellent teacher! I have studied Latin for many years, but wanted to improve my speaking skills. We are currently reading and discussing Cicero’s De Natura Deorum in Latin. It’s both challenging and extremely rewarding!

I always enjoy my lessons with Duilius. I tried to learn Latin by myself simply by reading LLPSI Familia Romana, but I felt my progress was slow and that I was missing things I couldn't explain. When I started with Duilius and went back to the very beginning of the book, I saw how much I was truly missing: he "unlocked" Latin for me. Yes, as an English speaker, I struggle with Latin's more extensive inflections, but Duilius is always patient and willing to coach me along. I have improved so much more with him. So, don't go it alone: take lessons from Duilius.

optimus magister est Duilius. His command of Latin is thorough and his knowledge of antiquity is impressive. He is willing to share this knowledge with you patiently and using the best method available to us to learn Latin (the direct method). There are few tutors that can teach you as well as he can. I've learned a lot from him in a short time.

Take Latin with Duilius, just do it. You'll be glad you did. Yes, it'll be intimidating at first to hear him talk ONLY Latin to you, but it is the best way to learn. Be willing to be confused, to be uncertain: I assure you Duilius will be patient with you. He will help you and you won't see any sign of impatience. As I've seen, Duilius knows speaking Latin is a huge jump for people, so he takes it slowly. Besides, learning Latin is a great way to learn the structure of language applicable to many languages.

I continue to be a big advocate for Duilius (and Latin). He's a very comfotable, easy-going teacher. He's as patient and knowledgeable as you'd want a teacher to be. And now, a quick plug for Latin (and Latin with Duilius): If you look it up, you'll see lots of benefits from studying Latin. Let me tell you, it lives up to the hype. It teaches precision in words and thinking, humility, and patience. And who doesn't need more of those things nowadays?
