Hi! I’m Laura, a certified native English tutor from the north of England 🇬🇧, now teaching under Cambodia’s sunny skies 🌞🌏
I have over 6 years of experience teaching students from around the world. I’ve taught more than 6,500 lessons and worked with 750+ students, both online and in real classrooms. I’ve also taught in a private school in Cambodia, worked with a private online school, and volunteered teaching English locally.

For me, teaching is about building real connections with my students. Over time, lessons often feel more like catching up with a friend, just with clear progress along the way.
I genuinely love seeing my students succeed, whether that’s:
• passing a test
• no longer needing extra support at school
• reaching a personal goal
• or simply speaking English naturally and confidently

My lessons are fun, interactive, and often game-based.
I focus on understanding each child’s learning style, strengths, and weaknesses, then tailor lessons to what they actually need, whether that’s speaking, grammar, vocabulary, reading, or writing.
The goal is simple: build confidence and real progress while keeping lessons enjoyable.

My lessons are relaxed and conversation-focused.
I help you speak more naturally and confidently, build useful vocabulary, and improve fluency.

Laura deserves more than 5 stars! She is responsible,competent and friendly. This teacher is preparing my students for the Russian State exam and IELTS speaking currently. She is extremely patient, the atmosphere in the class is relaxed and she makes my students feel comfortable. Her teaching approach is extremely effective and the lessons are well- balanced. It almost feels like talking to a friend, yet the corrections are always insightful. She always prepares the material for the lessons. My students adore Laura's games ))I highly recommend her to anyone who wants to learn or improve their language skills.
