Hi! I’m Sonia, a TEFL-certified English tutor with 4+ years of experience. I specialize in tech-focused English (perfect for IT professionals!) and practical conversation skills for adult learners.
As a language learner myself (Spanish A2, plus fluent Ewe and Twi), I get the challenges—grammar hurdles, awkward pauses, or tech jargon. Let’s tackle them together!
When not teaching, I’m coding (future programmer here!), binge-watching period dramas, or solving riddles.

As a teacher, I take a meaning-focused approach with my students. I employ task-based teaching methods in the classroom.
I will plan well structured lessons to help you develop your proficiency and ability speak to fluently and effortlessly. We can also have conversations or discussions on any topic of your choice to help you practice.

Generally, I intend to prepare my students for the English speaking world in addition to the English language. That means focusing on the style, nuance and pragmatics of the language simultaneously with the technical functions of English.
