Hi everyone! My name is Cynthia. I'm a professional Chinese teacher and a current Ph.D. student with a research focus on Chinese literacy education. I have received professional training and study in Chinese second language teaching and second language methodology in both Australia and China.
I have been teaching Chinese to L2 learners for more than five years and have more than 1000 hours of teaching experience in one-one Chinese tutoring. I have rich experience in teaching both children and adults. I will have a quiz(speaking) in the first class, in which I will know your Chinese level and talk with you about your learning goals. Based on your needs, I will prepare various learning materials and content for you. The lesson will contain pronunciation, Chinese characters, daily-life conversations, sentence structure, HSK preparation. For beginners, I will start with Pinyin, which is s the Romanization of the Chinese characters based on their pronunciation.
