As a native Greek speaker and fluent English teacher, I specialize in making language learning feel like an adventure, blending grammar with real-life Greek culture, traditions, and modern quirks.
My passion for psychology and deep conversations means our lessons can go beyond vocabulary—we’ll explore how language and culture shapes thinking (and vice versa!). Whether you’re a beginner or polishing fluency, I’ll help you speak naturally and embrace the messy, joyful process.

🗣️ I am happy to tailor the lesson around your needs and priorities, focusing on the things you find useful and interesting in your linguistic journey. Every student is different and unique, so I aim to create a personalized plan that includes realistic and achievable goals we can set together. :)
I encourage you to make mistakes and learn from them, while providing and repeating explanations and corrections, as many times as you need me to. 👩🏻🏫🗨️ My teaching style is mainly based on real life conversations & scenarios, as well as important aspects of the spoken language, here in Greece. At the same time it's accommodating and quite laid back, so you can let go of all of your worries about how you might sound or how many mistakes you might be making. :)

Sofia was so wonderful! She came to our lesson with many things planned and was really amazing. In a short trial lesson, she already helped me learn more than I did in my time studying alone. She was very supportive and very patient, knowledgeable (of course), and kind. I will be working with Sofia again, and you should too. She is a great teacher!
