Hi. I'm Neil from England! I am an experienced teacher of English to students of other languages.
I spent 5 years teaching English to Italians in Italy. I can speak a good level of Italian so I understand exactly what it feels like to learn a foreign language. I also spent 2 years in Spain as a conversation assistant and can speak and understand Spanish to a good level.
I spent a year in China teaching English before the Pandemic.
You can see that I love learning about languages and other cultures!
My other main interest is playing the piano. I love to talk about movies, politics, science and anything else that you are interested in really. I've recently taken up painting too!Tôi với tư cách là giáo viên
I love learning and I love to inspire others to learn. I am always enthusiastic and friendly! My students always comment on how patient I am. My main job is to make you feel relaxed and ready to learn. The most important thing is that I want you to feel free to make mistakes. I don't want you to ever feel nervous about learning.
I have a great deal of experience teaching both face to face and online.
I know what it feels like to learn a foreign language . It can be challenging, but it should also be very rewarding!

My lessons on Italki are for adult learners. At the end of each lesson, you should feel that you have had a chance to say something that you didn't know or weren't confident with before.
The structure of the lessons will depend on your goals. If you already have a good level of English and want to keep your language fresh, then we can focus on conversation- we can choose a topic to prepare before the lesson.
If you prefer something which is more structured we can do that too- the lesson could be based on an area of grammar that you want to improve, some new vocabulary you want to learn, or a skill that you need to use like writing an email or preparing for a vacation.5.0
