Andy is truly a one-of-a-kind teacher and a total gem on italki. They are warm, funny, patient, engaging, and incredible at balancing natural conversation with teaching moments. My Spanish has improved so much working with Andy, as has my knowledge of Guatemalan culture, tradition, and (only the best) slang. I cannot recommend Andy enough for beginner to intermediate level Spanish students who are looking for a conversation partner that will keep them engaged and having fun while learning.

Andy is a great teacher & tutor! Very helpful & engaging & knowledgable. They also have experience studying a bunch of different languages, and it's always fun for me to connect with people who share this trait with me.
