Monica is a wonderful tutor! She tailored our lesson plan for my interests and changes it to better suit my needs. She is not only friendly and welcoming, but also very patient, even when I struggle repeatedly with certain words or grammar. Monica will help you laugh off a mistake and try again. Learning materials are updated promptly after class, and she always has suggestions for supplemental shows or books. I would especially recommend studying with Monica to anyone learning Chinese so that they can read or watch their favorites in the original language!

Monica is a great Mandarin teacher! If you do self-study, you can't tell if you actually pronounce things correctly. It's very helpful to have a native correct you, and show you the proper pronunciation at the same time. Monica is super patient, and will keep correcting you until you get it right, while being kind and peppy at the same time.
