Qualified, experienced teacher and linguist with 25+ years of practice and success I have a university degree, of course, I'm a master of arts in language teaching and linguistics with more than 25 years of experience in various schools, corporate courses and private tuition, including about 15 years of online teaching, and I've had lots of publications, books, teaching materials, etc. But the most important thing is how much fun I have with my students, how we respect each other and how we work together. Although I'm a community tutor, I work as a professional teacher with my own method. If you are a beginner, I can teach you the strange Hungarian letters and pronunciation. Then we'll start practising simple, everyday phrases. I will speak slowly and clearly. And I'll try to explain everything in English or French. Even if you are advanced, it will be important for you that I speak in a clear and articulate way. I can correct your grammar and your pronunciation as well. I hope that you will become more and more confident with me. I can also help you with the simplified naturalisation process.

Hungarian: citizenship interview preparation/general teaching, German: grammar/communication/exams I am an open-minded and curious teacher who is eager to learn as much as possible about people and the world. This means that I will be genuinely interested in whatever interests you! :) For me, communication is key when learning a language, so I will encourage you to speak as much as possible - if that is what you want. If you'd rather focus on grammar, listening, or anything else, of course, we can do that. In our first meeting, we’ll discuss your goals, and we will work towards them. However, I am quite flexible regarding my teaching style, so if you think that another approach would benefit you more, I'm open to other methods as well!

When it comes to teaching, I like to make the student familiar with structures and patterns that are "set in stone". According to my students, I am patient and encouraging. I was and I am in the same boat, therefore I am aware of the difficulties one is facing with, while acquiring a new language. Every student is different, everyone has different goals. However, learning the stuctures one can also pull out from its pocket can help tremendously. I am concerned that making mistakes is the only way to make progress, no matter what the object of the learning is.
