I really enjoyed this class. Joe was excellent at guiding the conversation by asking questions, so I never had to worry about thinking of topics to talk about. He also took notes for me throughout the lesson, which meant I could focus on speaking, making mistakes, and learning from them instead of trying to write everything down. At the end of the class, he gave me detailed feedback, which I found incredibly helpful. He was very patient, calm, and never rushed me to finish my sentences. I was able to speak at my own pace, which made me feel much more comfortable and confident. I'm really happy with the class and would definitely recommend him to anyone looking to improve their Welsh conversation skills.

I have been discussing Welsh poems in my speaking sessions with Robin, which has been really good. Not only do I get to read poems and discover Welsh poets, but also I improve every session.

Meilyr is one of the best language teachers I've ever had. He is always on time and he has a deep knowledge of the structure of his native language, Welsh. That is a big deal because often people assume that they can teach a language effectively just because they are native speakers. Meilyr understands context, syntax, being able to code, the grammatical parts of speech, and other parts of language acquisition. What makes his style of teaching unique is that he makes learning effortless and he knows how to review language rules without it feeling monotonous. He's talented. He is always pleasant and cheerful too.

One of my favorite things in the world is taking lessons with Berwyn. I look forward to them even when I schedule them at silly hours for me like 3am or 4am or 11pm since I am across the world from him. The lessons are always enjoyable, very chill/no pressure, highly personalized, and paced in ways that make learning enjoyable and interesting.

Thank you for a great first lesson! Siwan and I covered Welsh pronunciation rules. Using the lyrics to Ar Lan y Môr, she then made sure read slowly so that I could listen to the sounds in context before asking me to repeat them myself, clarifying the translation as well. I am looking forward to the next lesson.

Marian has taught me some very useful expressions that I will be able to use in the future. She teaches me at my level (beginner), so I am able to understand a lot of what she says, which feels good! If there is something I don't understand, she is generally able to explain a word in Welsh, and I appreciate that. I have booked a package of lessons as I am very happy with the way she teaches.

A great first lesson with Jack. It was clear that he is both professional and experienced, as he had useful resources prepared and explained things very clearly. In particular, he could give very specific advice about how to make each of the sounds of Welsh language (and was patient with me as I tried my best to make them!). There was a nice mix of new information throughout the lesson so I never felt bored, but also repetition so I feel confident I will remember. I look forward to studying more with Jack! Diolch!

Gwyneth is a very patient teacher who treats mistakes as helpful learning experiences. She answers all questions thoroughly and does not have problems repeating things multiple times. I am greatly enjoying learning the Welsh language and can’t wait to have another lesson!
